The New York Working Families Party’s ballot access is being threatened! New rules backed by Governor Cuomo increased the amount of votes needed for minor parties like the WFP to qualify for a ballot line beyond 2020. The WFP must get at least 130,000 votes (or 2% of the votes) for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

The WFP is where working people come together to elect progressive leaders and win real change. With the WFP, we’ve elected progressive candidates who share our values of affordable housing, fully funded schools, police reform, environmental justice, and other issues impacting our communities. The party has led the fight for fair wages, paid sick days, climate action, tenants rights, and higher taxes on the ultra-rich. 

Due to New York’s fusion voting system, your vote for Joe Biden on the WFP will not split the vote—it will count towards the Democratic vote to help us defeat Trump and strengthen progressive grassroots movement building in New York.
